PDSC is a KultureCity Certified Sensory Inclusive Venue. All staff have completed the KultureCity Sensory Inclusive training. When you arrive at the front desk, you may collect a Sensory Inclusive Bag. Bags are available during regular museum hours; They contain items to help visitors feel calm, including noise cancelling headphones, an "I am feeling" visual communication card, and several fidget tools. There are designated quiet areas that are great places to decompress. To preview the PDSC experience, visit https://venue.kulturecity.org/... to see a slideshow explaining what to expect and what sensory inclusive features are provided.
**PDSC is open extended hours 4-6 PM on the first Wednesday of each month for Sensory-Friendly Times. To make the museum less stimulating, staff dim the lights and remove some of the noisier toys and features to create a calmer environment. To visit during sensory-friendly times advance RSVP is required by phone or email.

PDSC partners with Museums for All. Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free admission for up to four individuals per EBT card during all normal operating hours simply by presenting their EBT card and a photo ID.
The cost of museum admission can be a barrier for many low-income families. Museums for All is a national, branded access program that encourages individuals of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly, feel welcome at cultural institutions, and build lifelong museum habits.
