Boost Collaborative provides, at no cost to families, Evaluation and Assessments of children birth to three for parents who have concerns about their child's development. This service does NOT require a doctor's order or insurance. If parents choose to have their child assessed, they are NOT obligated to use recommended services.
Once a parent request this service (OR a doctor submits a referral,) Boost Collaborative is obligated to schedule an intake appointment within a 45-day timeframe. The intake appointment may be in-person or virtual. The Support Services team gathers information about your child through parent report, observation of the child while playing and doing daily tasks, and using formal assessments completed by qualified providers. The team is able to gather an in-depth look at your child’s development to determine their needs. This formal process is provided by a team of early intervention professionals working with your child and their parents or guardian. Copies of the development assessment and observations are shared with parents, typically in a written report format.
For more information, or to schedule an intake appointment call Boost Collaborative.

Services for Preschool Children
Pullman School District provides special services for students ages three through five. Students who qualify for special education services in cognitive, adaptive and/or personal/social skills receive specially designed instruction at the Pullman School District (PSD) Preschool.
Students who qualify for services in speech/language or fine/gross motor and are not Head Start eligible, receive therapy at their neighborhood school.
Students attending the PSD Preschool receive specially designed instruction from the PSD Special Education Preschool Teacher. Services are provided in a holistic manner within the classroom setting. The Creative Curriculum is used as the foundation on which each child's specially designed instruction is delivered. The PSD Preschool follows the school district calendar. It operates Monday through Thursday from 9 - 11:30am.
Our preschool is located in the Head Start building at 530 NW Greyhound Way in Pullman. The PSD contracts with Community Child Care Center to provide the classroom space, equipment, and materials. It is not necessary for PSD students to qualify for Head Start in order to receive special services. However, students who qualify for Head Start receive additional services through the Head Start Program once the parent or guardian completes the application process.
