Palliative Care is an extra layer of support for people with chronic or serious illness. This type of care is focused on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness with a goal to improve quality of life for both the patient and family. Palliative Care is appropriate at any age or stage of a serious or chronic illness and can complement curative treatments.

Social work is integral to health care. We can help you and your family manage stress-related problems due to injury or illness, and find VA community resources to meet your needs like:

To utilize services, you must fill out a 10-10EZ attach 214 and fax or mail in prior to visit. You must bring the letter you get back from the VA with you to your eligibility appointment.
