Independent Living Skills Training

This service is provided for people ages 16 and up. People with disabilities must learn new skills to be independent. DAC staff and volunteers can help you learn how to:

  • Manage your finances
  • Be assertive in the community
  • Communicate effectively
  • Advocate for yourself and your rights
  • Do daily tasks in a new way
