Medicaid Alternative Care is an in-home care program which provides support to unpaid caregivers, to assist them in providing quality care to their loved one while also improving their own well-being. This program provides a maximum of 20 hours of respite care. Care receivers must be 55 years of age or older and eligible for Medicaid.
