Palouse Habitat for Humanity ReStore

The Palouse Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used items to the public at a fraction of the retail price. All proceeds are used by Palouse Habitat for Humanity to build and repair homes for low-income families in Latah and Whitman counties. Anyone is welcome to volunteer, donate, and shop at the store. Open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Veterans discount at checkout.

Ramps and Rails

Palouse Habitat's Ramps & Rails serves Whitman and Latah county with exterior accessibility projects. We focus on wheelchair ramps (permanent and temporary, steps, handrails, and other small projects. At this time, we do not do interior projects. The process is to fill out the form on https://palousehabitat.org/app and we will have a Habitat staff or volunteer contact you to discuss the project, do a site visit, and discuss timeline and costs.

Affordable Home Ownership

Palouse Habitat for Humanity builds safe, decent, affordable housing for families in need on the Palouse. We build houses where we can find affordable or donated land in Latah County, ID and Whitman County, WA. For more information on becoming a Habitat homeowner, please visit palousehabitat.org and the Apply and About pages. We typically take applications in the fall. We maintain an interest list to be contacted when the application starts. You can also watch our social media for updates on home applications.
