Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse (ATVP)

ATVP empowers individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and abuse, and stalking. We work to create a safe and equitable community through education and prevention.

Programs

Diaper Bank

ATVP has a small community pantry located in the hallway outside of their offices in the Gladish Community & Cultural Center. Their pantry includes free diapers supplied by PREPARES and other generous doners.

Support Group

Support groups, facilitated by ATVP staff, provide a safe, confidential space for survivors to share their experiences and support one another. There is no charge for any ATVP service, including support groups. For domestic violence support groups, child advocacy is often provided.

Emergency Shelter

ATVP maintains a safe, confidential shelter here on the Palouse for people in danger due to domestic violence.

Crime Victim Service Center of Whitman County

CVSC provides free and confidential 24/7 in-person and hotline support to victims and survivors of crime including: assualt, identity theft, elder abuse, hate crimes and human trafficking.
